Come join your fellow Isshin ryu practitioners at the Isshin ryu Training Seminar and High Dan Promotion ceremony on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 from 1:00-3:00pm at Samurai Martial Arts, 1512 Spencerport rd., Rochester, NY. It’s open to all Isshin ryu Brown and Black belts. The seminar is being put on the International Isshin ryu Karate Federation.

The training class is for Brown to Black Belts only and will cover Isshin ryu karate basics, katas, weapons, bunkai and partner drills. You will learn training methods and concepts that will improve your skills.

Please wear your full uniform (any color) and bring training weapons (bo, sai, etc.). The training class will run approximately 90 minutes. After the training class (approximately 90 minutes), there will be a promotion ceremony for IIKF members who are being promoted to 5th degree and higher ranks. It will start directly after the seminar and all seminar participants are encouraged to stay to congratulate those being promoted.
