SUMMARY:TV News morning karate class
DESCRIPTION:Starting at 6:15 am (yes\, that’s AM)\, we will have Chris Lopez\, the morning TV reporter from Channel 13 coming to our Brighton dojo to do a live story (with 4 segments) and interviews about kids in karate.  Students of all ages 4 – 15 are invited\, any belt level\, all dojo branches.  Students need to be there\, in uniform\, by 6:15 am.  And students can stay for as many segments as possible (finishing around 8:30 am). Your senseis will be running a fun karate class so we can give the TV viewers an idea of what happens at a karate school. \nWe understand that it’s a challenge to do this on a school day morning and we hope you’ll be able to help us out.  It’ll be a fun and exciting experience\, and your child may be interviewed or highlighted.  Most schools will be okay with a child coming late if parents have okayed it with the teacher or principal beforehand.  You can register to have your child participate here https://events.membersolutions.com/event_register.asp?content_id=90089

DESCRIPTION:Our dojo competition team will have its first practice from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Brighton dojo.  All students (6 yrs old and up) Orange belt and higher from all dojo branches are invited to try out a practice session at no charge.  This team is for all students who want to improve their competition skills in katas and sparring.  This is for kids\, teens and adults.
