SUMMARY:Dojo Karate Tournament
DESCRIPTION:This exciting karate tournament will feature divisions for all ages and belt levels.  Training for compeitions and learning how to win (and lose) are important experiences for all karate students. Students from all Martial Arts America schools are eligible to participate.  The tournament will be held at the Brighton dojo branch (3450 Winton Place\, Rochester). \n2:00pm Tigers (kata and board breaking)\n2:30 pm White\, Yellow & Orange belts\n3:15 pm Green through Adv. Purple belts\n4:00 pm Brown through Black Belts\n\nThere will be kata and padded weapons fighting. Awards for top places but the emphasis is on Fun\, Friendship and Good Sportsmanship!\n 3:30 pm – Brown belts and higher (ages 6 – 12)\, Teens & Adults all belt levels – Kata and sparring\n\nAll competitiors will recieve a karate award for participating. Please wear full karate unifomr (no t-shirts).  Green belts and higher bring all sparring equipment.

DESCRIPTION:BOARD BREAKING – one of our students’ favorite activities! All participants will practice and train in various ways on how to break boards. No experience necessary. Only 25 spots available – first registered\, first in. Register now for your child (and siblings/friends) here on our dojo app. Everyone who participates will get to break three real wooden boards over the course of the night.
